Christopher Dorner, what the hell???

Are y'all reading this?
LOS ANGELES - Police on the hunt for a former cop accused of killing three people shot multiple people themselves this morning after coming across vehicles that appeared to match the Nissan Titan that suspect Christopher Dorner is believed to be driving, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Dorner, 33, allegedly opened fire on police, injuring one officer before fleeing. Soon after, police believe Dorner ambushed two Riverside police officers, killing one.

Dorner also is wanted in the killings of Monica Quan, 28, and her fiance, Keith Lawrence, 27, who were found shot to death in their car in Irvine, Calif. Sunday night. Quan was an assistant women's basketball coach at Cal State Fullerton and Lawrence was a public safety officer at the University of Southern California.

Quan's father represented Dorner in front of the Board of Rights, a tribunal that ruled against Dorner when he was dismissed from the force in 2008, for making false statements in an investigation.

According to the Los Angeles Times, around 5:20 a.m. on Thursday, police searching for Dorner allegedly shot two people in Torrence, Calif. Both were reportedly transported to an area hospital. A second shooting occurred 25 minutes later involving Torrence police officers, according to the Times. No one was injured in the second incident.

The Times reports that police say Dorner was not involved in either of the later Thursday morning incidents.

Dorner is believed to be driving a 2005 blue or gray Nissan Titan, with California license plate 8D83987 or 7X09131, according to the Times
What the hell? What...the hell?

Innocent folks getting shot because the LAPD is beefing with itself (so to speak)? What the hell?
Los Angeles officers guarding a "target" named in the posting shot and wounded two women in suburban Torrance who were in a pickup but were not involved, authorities said. It's not clear if the target is a person or a location. Beck said one woman was in stable condition with two gunshot wounds and the other was being released after treatment.

"Tragically we believe this was a case of mistaken identity by the officers," Beck said.

The Daily Breeze in Torrance also reports () that there was another police shooting nearby involving another pickup truck, but the driver wasn't hurt.

"We're asking our officers to be extraordinarily cautious just as we're asking the public to be extraordinarily cautious with this guy. He's already demonstrated he has a propensity for shooting innocent people," said Smith, the LAPD commander. (Source)
This is a train-wreck that just keeps on wreckin'.  Seriously?  Shooting cars because they look alike?  Dorner's the only man who owns a Nissan Titan?  Can you imagine driving down a street, minding your own business, and then suddenly being rushed to the hospital for gunshot wounds?  In what universe is that supposed to make sense?

And apparently, ole dude went onto  Facebook to scribble a "manifesto."
"I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty[.]" army of hacks in Hollywood are wondering how to turn this into a film.

  1. When they find this guy they will take him down. He sounds pretty crazy but he is black and armed to the teeth. We see how many times they shoot unarmed black men. No way will they take an armed one, trained to kill alive.

    1. He sounds pretty crazy

      Manifesto's a dead giveaway.

  2. By virtue of the fact that the LAPD is acting a fool like this, I'm starting to think Dorner might be telling the truth.

    1. From what I've read, I'm thinking the guy might be crazy but not a liar...

That the two victims (so far) are women tells me that they're not even bothering to check if the driver matches the suspect's description. Still wtf-ing at all this...and I'm with Nicthommi - Dorner's as good as dead.

And, yes, this WILL be in a movie or TV show some day (soon).

    1. That the two victims (so far) are women tells me that they're not even bothering to check if the driver matches the suspect's description.

Which makes you wonder why it's so important for them to take this guy out. Current body count notwithstanding, I have to wonder if there's something else we're missing here.

For real. The cops have dealt with extra nutty butters before, but they really want this one dead. I mean, John Allen Mohammed was taken in breathing without a scratch - and JAM was one really sick sack! Something else is going on, along with him being a triple-murderer and clearly unhinged as all hell*.

*Not excusing his actions one bit. Not one iota.

I've now learned that the two injured women were also Asian and elderly.

      *looks at Dorner's photo*

      They're really not giving one-tenth of a f*ck.

    4. Good question. Mind you that this man is scary, but still....

While I will never justify what Chris is doing and is more than mad for killing his victims, his reasoning may leave you scratching your head wondering. On Nightline, it was said that Chris was upset that the LAPD review board dismissed a complaint about a guy who was the victim of police brutality and that the victim/suspect was mentally ill .Nightlife got confirmation of the complaint by the man who filed it.It was true. He also is pissed off by other injustices within the department (no surprise there). Like racism and other problems.

Though this man seems dangerous, what he says about the injustices makes one wonder if they want this guy so bad because he knows something that the public doesn't/should know about them?

    5. That's my though...b/c they usually close ranks on cops who commit crimes.

  4. Here's an article from Davey D's Hip-Hop corner:

  5. According to the news police also opened fire on a black Honda soon after shooting the first set of victims.

    1. Damn...this already is like something out of a movie.

    2. Well, they're cops. They don't have to be RIGHT when they shoot at people, esp. non-white people.
Looking for a black man and shoot up Asian ladies. No biggie. They won't be disciplined for that. It's not like it was some white girls.

    3. Nicthommi

Yep! That's about the size of it.

  6. ***Update***

They've put a $1 Million bounty on this man's head.

They want him They really want him.

    1. Leo Princess2/11/13, 12:09 AM

And, if what I'm seeing on Tumblr is right, they've also sicced drones on him. Drones. The first US citizen on US soil to become a drone target.

      Shit just got extra real.

    2. See, and that makes me want to hear what he has to say even more. Funnily, if he'd been killing black suspects he would be not labeled as a "killer." Their desire to take him out makes me want to hear what he has to say, b/c they are a little too eager to make sure that doesn't happen.

Like I said before, I think he's crazy, but not a liar.

    3. Drones and that million dollar bounty are sinister all by themselves. But I found this to be even more telling:
"A mother and daughter newspaper delivery team who were mistakenly shot by Los Angeles police hunting for a fugitive former cop will get a new pickup truck courtesy of the department." The commander came to their HOME and personally apologized as well.

The shooting of two females - again ignoring the description of Dorner not withstanding - when have you ever heard of LAPD making reparations on anyone they've "accidentally" shot before?

They want this guy BAD and they want him SILENCED in every way. "See, and that makes me want to hear what he has to say even more." Yup. Me too.
