"Please proceed, Governor."

The third debate is going to be straight-up bloody.

  1. I know its all over facebook and the internet but I have to bring up Romney's comment on "binders full of women."

CROWLEY: Governor Romney, pay equity for women?

ROMNEY: Thank you. And important topic, and one which I learned a great deal about, particularly as I was serving as governor of my state, because I had the chance to pull together a cabinet and all the applicants seemed to be men.

And I — and I went to my staff, and I said, "How come all the people for these jobs are — are all men." They said, "Well, these are the people that have the qualifications." And I said, "Well, gosh, can't we — can't we find some — some women that are also qualified?"

ROMNEY: And — and so we — we took a concerted effort to go out and find women who had backgrounds that could be qualified to become members of our cabinet.

I went to a number of women's groups and said, "Can you help us find folks," and they brought us whole binders full of women.

  2. I guess he forgot 51% of Americans are female.

Still I wonder if any GOP women voters are going to change their minds. So many want to disbelieve their party's stance on women, you have to wonder if Mittens showing his ass so clearly was a game changer or not.

    1. Um, of course not, b/c that would involve letting black folks stay in the White House...you know those people will never vote in favor of their best interests.

  3. The President handed Mitt his ass last night, and it was beautiful. If this is what the third debate is going to be like, I am SO looking forward to it!

  4. Where was this man during the last debate? We wouldn't even need to have a second debate if this president had shown up last time.

    1. My theory on that. I truly think O and Team didn't believe Mittens would actually be as lying and rude and bullying in such a heavily scrutinized live national forum like that.

He was prepared for a gentlemanly fight and when the MittBot came out true to form he was for a better word nonplussed.

But its GAME ON now and the gloves are OFF :D

  6. I loved last nights debate.Obama had him told. Mitt probably didn't think he was going to do that, especially when he brought up the 47 percent argument. He just told it like it was.

  7. I need to ponder a bit longer before I can fully articulate my thoughts.

  8. I'm still facepalming over that "binders full of women" line.

    1. Turns out even THAT story wasn't exactly true. (wow that guy has a hard time with the truth). Mittens actually didn't even go looking for women to fill any of those plum high level state jobs:
      http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/17/romney-binders-full-of-women_n_1974092.html

That list of qualified women for those posts were already going to be sent to the candidate who won (happened to be Mittens). Looks like he never actually followed up and contacted "the bipartisan coalition of women’s groups dedicated to increasing the number of women appointed to top government jobs" who sent out those binders.

  9. So apparently Mittbot's son wants to punch our POTUS for calling out his daddy's bs. Why am I not surprised? Anyone else got an opinion?
