Open Thread: The DNC

No offense to the First Lady - and she is one hell of a lady - but Deval Patrick killed.

Damn.  Thoughts?

***Update***

Can't believe I forgot about Ted Strickland!

I always did love me some Bill Clinton.

  1. I remembered when Deval became Massachusetts governor,I thought that he was hot and had a crush on him. After looking at that speech, it made me respect him even more. He definitely killed it.I just love all of pointers he brought up about Mittens.Deval just continued to stomp on those toes of his. That man was dynamic!Im sorry, but the RNC will never be the DNC not now and not ever

    1. When he told Democrats to grow a backbone, it was over.

  2. This may seem shallow, but I love that Deval has a Black wife. That says a lot about him. Craig Robinson doesn't. That says something else about him....

    1. I'm not surprised he's married to a Black woman.

    2. I'm glad that Bill pulled it off also..not as powerful as Deval, but he did his thing. So many people thought that he would struggle with his speech ,but he proved them wrong.

    3. Deval and Ted Strickland (now posted above) were the firebrands. Bill was the Godfather.

  4. Here's something which really bugged me about the DNC. One of the lines almost everyone used was, "Mitt Romney's a nice guy" or "Mitt Romney's not a bad person."

Uh...dude fired thousands and walked off with millions. When you can fire a bunch of people, leaving them with no severance pay, no pension, and no warning, and then walk off with a multi-million-dollar paycheck of your own, something's with you. Something is horribly wrong with you.
