Yes, welcome to post-racial AmeriKKKlan. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Why do they hate us so much. These people hate us like we stole THEM from Europe and enslaved them for over 400 years. They are itching for a race war because the thought of Black people gaining ANY kind of power makes their mouths lather. They are paranoid because despite saying racism is, " in your heads, things weren't that bad, you need get over slavery.." ect, they are TERRIFIED that we want revenge for all the "nonexistent" shit they put us through. After all, that is what they would do.

Guard yourself well, my friends. The history of racist whites is a violent one. The world is changing and they are terrified of the consequences. They will begin to act like cornered beasts.

I'm sorry if anyone was offended, but this shit right here??? This "Trayvonning"? I'm utterly disgusted. Profoundly.

You know what's on my mind? This race war whites wanna start.
    Let's talk about that.

To me personally, the race war between white and black has been going on since D. W. Griffith’s Birth of a Nation.

The film is controversial due to its interpretation of history. University of Houston historian Steven Mintz summarizes its message as follows: Reconstruction was a disaster, blacks could never be integrated into white society as equals, and the violent actions of the Ku Klux Klan were justified to reestablish honest government.

Since then white zealots have shored up the ramparts and fortified their positions. Their weapon of choice? Why the media of course. Through disinformation whites have swayed the hearts and minds of millions in the struggle for supremacy. They don’t have to fire a shot. Simply bombard the bourgeoisie with lie after lie after lie. Repeat the falsehood long enough and often enough and most Americans will come to believe it. Cultivate fear and cynicism in whites by drawing upon their most profound trepidations. Namely, non-whites are out to take what’s rightfully yours. Whites can then seal the supposition by suggesting: these same people (Including your President) seek to usurp your way of life.

You can elevate far more whites to political power when you exacerbate white fears. Hence, more laws are put on the books that place white interests above all else. Through political subterfuge whites redraw congressional maps & voting districts to maintain a foothold on the electorate. Likewise, they saturate the airwaves and print-media with hidden racist propaganda. They divide and conquer by turning non-white against non-white. Moreover, they've monopolized popular culture in a way that obscures the relevancy of non-whites in this society; while elevating whiteness above all else (white = good).

So while the white man’s counterpart is bleaching his robes- digging bunkers (it’s a team effort you see) and training in the woods; we’re turning on each other in a brazen act of self-destruction. That’s how you gain the advantage in a race war. Problem is, the only ones who seem to be aware of its existence is whites. Lest we forget: "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

So by that same token: The greatest trick of the white man was to convince non-whites that a race war was imminent; when in fact it already exists.

Ever since I was able to research and confirm for myself that the CIA purposely flooded prominent African-American neighborhoods with crack I knew we were already at war or I should say war was being waged against us. I know not every white person is a soldier by choice in this war and I know that this race war is also part of a class war but none the less we are at war. The question is are we winning or loosing?

The question is are we winning or loosing?

If you’re old enough to remember the Huntley-Brinkley Report or Walter Cronkite you know that the Vietnam War was televised live and then beamed into every American household. Always with the latest tally of the dead and wounded. We know now that the kill-numbers were inflated to make it appear we were having an impact on the war when it was grimmer than our generals let on. LBJ ceded his presidency over the affair as I recall. We won many battles yes- but Vietnam is now a communist country is it not?

“You can kill ten of my men for every one I kill of yours, but even at those odds, you will lose and I will win.” Ho Chi Minh

Its not so much a win-lose scenario at this point, but if the white man can get us to do his work for him that really hurts us in the short term. We can’t wrestle both him and ourselves and expect a positive outcome. The thing is, he’s fighting more than just us; he’s waging war against Islam. He’s waging war against immigrants of color. He’s waging an economic war against the Chinese; while owing trillions to the sleeping dragon. The white man is being assailed from all fronts. Numerically, he’s bitten off more than he can chew, for the truth of the matter is; people of color have a deeper bench.

We’re ten years into Afghanistan and whites are tired. Our soldiers are coming home in pieces (some damaged beyond repair). And still the Afghans fight on. In order for the white man to feel truly safe he’d have to nuke over half the planet. If it were morally/logistically feasible he would have done it by now. Course he nuked Japan twice and they grew to be an economic powerhouse.

The white man is under the illusion that the United States is too big to fail. All he need do is mind the turmoil in Europe to know that this is not true. When the white man commits economic suicide he’s going to take a few countries with him. He’s just reaping what he’s sown. The white man has been waging war against us while we slowly self-destruct. Things are getting better he says; racism is a thing of the past he exclaims. All while singing Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition.

Not to mention that there have been accusations of the contest not being run properly. The girl "Torika Watters" seem to have been pre-seected to compete in the pageant. For some odd reason people of color shouldn't complain when people sent to represent us don't actually represent us. I guess the Fijians were being too "uppity". BTW none of the judged were Fijian, and there were complaints of the pageant being mismanaged.

    1. I love your comment b/c I hear the same thing in relation to Rashida Jones and Maggie Q. Are they women of color? Yes. Do I think they are less minority than me? No. But I've seen forums where Asians and Black women point out that they probably don't code as minority to White people, so White people casting them isn't proof of any progress or diversity, they get to play characters who are white, have white partners, and get treated like honorary white people on camera (so no annoying racial stereotypes) b/c they aren't quite as "visible" as a lot of us, and White people get all up in arms when we point that out.

And an Asian American woman on a forum had to explain that Maggie Q. being a popular actress in Asia despite looking very white and not speaking anything except English was a example of internalized racism and the idea that white was prettier. And you know when you point out that their BS has infected your culture they either ignore you are call you a racist.

So I've had to read annoying people who talk about how they hate when people mention passing, as if it's something POC just made the hell up for people we think aren't ethnic enough.

But they should shut the hell up if they want to act like those actresses don't have privilege over women who are not ambiguous looking to others.

And did you hear about the mother in Florida who fired a shot (but did not hit) her abusive ex and who got 20 years in jail. Guess what color she was? She certainly didn't go straight home after that. And now she's in jail.

    1. @Kstyle, what you mentioned is also rampant in the Brazilian modeling industry, so people think that the majority of people look like Gisele Budchen, who is just a 2nd generation or so German immigrant, rather than like black people, which the majority of Brazilians are. They describe "Brazilian" as if it is an actual race or a way that people look, and it's a label applied to a lot of lighter skinned black people apparently, especially is they are ones with less kinky hair or light eyes. So stupid. They are just so stupid it makes my head hurt.

It's so funny b/c she looks like every other white woman, (really pretty similar to Steffi Graf in my opinion) and really does look like a German to me, yet in their extreme narcissism, white people convince themselves that she's this special beautiful exotic mix. I actually had to stop myself from gagging when I was sitting next to a white man who said she was the "best of everything" and I said, no, she's white and European and her parents/grandparents immigrated from Brazil (and were probably Nazis but I didn't say that), and there was actually a knowledgeable white guy at the table (it was an alumni function) who knew and co-signed my statement. But funny that they convince themselves that an ideal "mix" of ethnicities, even if true about her which it is not, would be one where all you see is the white.

The white white people in Brazil are still all white. They don't mix and keep to themselves and cluster in certain parts of the country. I have a Japanese Peruvian friend and she said that after 3 generations, there is still not a lot of intermarriage between them and the groups that were already in Peru when they started coming 100 years ago.

I think I saw that Miss Haiti and it is nuts since Haitians sometimes proudly say they don't have our "slave" mentality.

    2. I admit ,when I first read about this girl, I felt bad for her thanks in part because of the judges beliefs instead of choosing people on who is the best representative for Fiji.

I also understand why the people may harbor this sentiment about this. Fr om what I have read about it, the judges already have made up their mind on who should win the contest, without taking notes or properly evaluating the contestants on what they are supposed to base the women on. The judges just made up their minds on her fair skin..that was all they needed for her to be declared to be Miss Fiji.

      Delete
    3. QueenofSheba5/17/12, 4:02 PM

It's white supremacy when the closest thing to white in a population is automatically raised up as the 'most beautiful' a la Miss Fiji/Haiti or used to represent blackness such as 'Rashida Jones'. It's done deliberately to make authentic racially black africoid people unacceptable and invisible.

When our skin colours and features aren't allowed anywhere in the media, other than to represent servitude i.e 'The Help' etc, then you aid in destroying black people's sense of self worth. Once that's gone, it doesn't matter what the racial demographics are, whites stay on top.

If you doubt that, go and check out the continued existence of the tiny percentage of white european elites ruling over brown and blacks throughout South America. It's so not all about the numbers no matter how much the media pretends it is.

We're pretty innured to this strategy in the West because it's been going on through music videos/movies for decades - the love interest/hot girl represented by light skin/biracial women and the culture of black self hatred in our communities has supported it but clearly in Fiji, they weren't falling for that garbage.

      Delete
    4. @QueenofSheba,

  13. Oh trust and believe that the slave mentality attitude is in every country that a black person resides in. Haiti is no exception.
Funny story: my grandma( love her to pieces) would always tell my uncles to bring home a light skinned Haitian or anyone of a lighter hue, well three out of the seven did and guess what, two out of the three ended up divorced. Now ain't that something?

So yes the house slave vs field slave mentality gets handed down from the older generations.
I just think it's sad that people at times can't look past the hue of a person's skin tone.

And I heard on NPR today that us minorities, meaning everyone but WP make up a little more than half of the population in the US.
Oh boy, I guess we have to go on extra high alert cuz the WP are going to go crazy.

    1. Now That Our Kids Are the Majority, These Are Our Demands:
      5. No more all white movie casts and TV shows. Sorry, but that stuff just isn’t gonna sell.

Let me amend this just a bit: No more all-white sitcoms cast with the lone black guy (either to give your show hipness; or to protect you from charges of racism as in HBO’s Girls). No more overweight- asexual, sassy black females (in all white sitcoms) cast as either housekeeper or the BFF; whose only purpose is to deliver the juicy lines.

No more of the black guy dies first scenario just so you can ‘heighten the dramatic effect’ as you whites put it. Let’s see a non-white protagonist save the world and get the girl on a regular basis. Let’s see more non-white/culturally relevant fairy tales where the prince (or princess) rides off with their love of color to live happily ever after. Shows like Cops & 48 Hours need to stop now. Whereas whites have become central to almost every facet of society, that has to stop as well; we too have lives don’t ya know.

Finally with regards to politics: There's only been Six Black U.S. Senators Since Reconstruction. We want to see some changes now, and we mean yesterday!

    2. Can I add, stop acting like letting the Black guy have a White or Asian woman is some big treat? It's not a harmless or "color-blind" move. Shows are loathe to show black men who actually like/pick black women.
