POC I'm Watching: John Cho

Already you folks are well aware of how much I love this man.  That pretty much goes without saying.

I wasn't aware of all his films, and even when I became aware of his projects, not all were readily available. But methinks that ever since he was in Star Trek (2009) and FlashForward (2009-2010), studios have finally made the decision to get as much of his previous, lesser known work more readily available [read: Netflix].

John Cho plays Larry Finkelstein (don't ask) in the 2004 film See This Movie.  In it, he plays an amateur film producer on a doomed project in Montreal.  The film is a comedy, and Cho's character is quite hilarious in his own way, especially when he shows how far he's willing to go to make a project work.

...Not that I actually watched this movie for its plot.  If memory serves, he was the only POC in the cast.

  1. Awww he's so cute. I remember how annoyed i was when i found out he was married.

  2. Oooo I love him. John and zoe were my two big reasons for being excited for star trek. I loved his drill fight scene in that film and how he took out everyone without any help. I never watched flashforward but heared he was good in it. I read that the writing started out strong for that show and then went down hill. Its a shame that happened because I would've tried to catch up with the show once I heared how good it was. I watched both harold and kumar films for him. I look forward to seeing him in more film/tv and hope he plays a more visible role in the new trek film cause sulu is awesome.

  3. John was my main reason for watching Trek. No offense to Zoe, but I like my Uhura thicker, darker, and sans the long-ass weave.
