Arizona Can Go to Hell

I find it funny that the right-wing is clamoring to "end the politicizing of this event" when it's a white guy who has clearly been egged on by their pro-gun political rhetoric to identifying with each other and with ending their problems. ...("second amendment solutions", crosshairs on political districts, "dont retreat, reload", tea partiers should be "armed and dangerous", so on, so on)...

When the Ft. Hood shooting took place, the right couldn't contain itself with all of the White males who wanted to place the Muslim assailant up and broadcast his ethnicity. Now, when it's a White guy with a gun centric view of fixing his political and personal anxieties, oh, all of a sudden it's not fair game anymore. Ha!

You know what, I have better shit to write about right now.  It's not like we haven't seen this type of ish before.  Jared Lee Loughner is a goddamn terrorist.  He's not mentally ill.  He doesn't need help.  He's a just another piece of shit spawned by a shit-infested society, so people can shut the fuck up now and take a big whiff.

Fuck Arizona; it had this coming.  It's one of the easiest states in which to purchase a gun.  It murdered 15-year-old Sergio Adrian Hernandez Guereca and 9-year-old Brisenia Flores (yeah...she was nine too.  How come the national news ain't talkin' about her?).  And let's not forget, Arizona passed SB1070 without battling an eyelash.  Survey says: It can go to hell.

Chickens always come home to roost; sometimes sooner than later.  People can grieve and moment-of-silence all they want - fuck that.  They're responsible for this.  Every time they excused the likes of Palin, Dr. Laura, Beckkk, Hannity, Limbaugh, and whatever other miserable piece of shit you want to name, they were contributing to this.  They helped build it up; they should be proud of their creation.

We can now go back to talking about POC issues, actors, musicians, and leave white America to clean up another one of its own messes.

Happy New Year, bitches.

  2. I'm not surprised by it at all.

most of the domestic terrorists who actually kill people (not just plot, but get far enough to take lives) are/were white but are usually given the "mentally unstable" pass.

It's gross, ingratiating, infuriating. Arizona, aw hell, this country is shit, with shit comes the flies, with flies comes the sickness. It's all good.

  3. Girl, I was waiting for you to bring this up. I second the Fuck Arizona, racist piece of shit. My family vacation was nearly ruined because of the racist assholes that populate that state.

4 points I brought up with my Dad:
    1) Arizona was so busy trying to keep Brown people out, it forgot it has crazy ass White folks of its own. Just like when schools were so busy expelling 'dangerous' Tyrell, they overlooked Chris who would later shoot up the damn school. White people so busy fearing us, they get shocked when the murderer ends up being one of their own. They need to focus on their own house and leave Brown people's supposed 'pathological' tendencies alone.

    2) White folk need to shut the hell up about inner city youth and gangsta rappers "glorifying" Gun Violence. They need to clean up their own damn yards. i.e. '2nd Amendment Remedies", "Don't Retreat, Reload" oh and don't forget Mama Grizzle posing with guns and an American Flag

    3) Conservatives trying to say that they're not responsible for the rhetoric. Well hell, by that logic neither is Osama Bin Laden for 9/11. Yeah, only Brown people can inspire crazy followers. Never pure White American patriots with Freedom of Speech

    4) Stop Blaming Mental Illness as an end all. It is not an indicator of violence and it just leads to further demonization of mentally ill persons as fortunately MSNBC brought up (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41002034/ns/slatecom/).

Also, stop looking for the humanity in White perpetrators when you don't try and look for it in Brown individuals. The MSM always makes it a point to ask friends and neighbors and family members for 'clues' in an effort to understand this 'person'. The criminal justice system loves to do that to white boys: remind people these monsters still may have a soul. Digressing a little bit, Inside Edition had a story about the 10 year old boy who shot his mother with a shot gun and told 911 he did it, and the first line in the story is "This baby faced boy is accused of being a murderer". Now, They ain't talk about Tyrone being baby faced, they treat his ass an adult. You won't ever see them about to do a special on the "Breakdown of White Youth in America". Republicans quick to blame this as an isolated inicident of a "deranged individual". Second on your post about the Fort Hood Killer. Wasn't a damn individual then.

    Happy New Year Indeed

  4. all the whitesplaining going on in the media is infuriating: he was mentally ill, he was isolated, he was a right winger, he was a left winger yet they won't call him a terrorist or a white terrorist or a Christian terrorist or a white male terrorist

  5. Some white people have a hard time calling their peers terrorist or vigilantes because oftentimes they harbor some of the same sentiments. Hence- to call a fellow white person out is to point the finger at themselves. Whites are too busy portraying each other as ‘heroes and saviors’. I worked with the mentally ill for 19 yrs. (first as a hospital aide, and later as a case manager) and although I saw my share of violence, it was the white patients that scared me the most. We had a number of white clients on extended furlough who were killers of family members and ex-girlfriends. I remember one young man in particular who dressed up as Freddy Kruger (with cardboard gloves) who scared the stuffing out of most of the staff.

A black man might go off and shoot someone yes, but very rarely will you discover he has built a bunker in his basement to torture young girls; or eat his dates. And because he’s white he'll go unnoticed in his neighborhood for yrs. until his crime is discovered, for such is privilege. White people have a hard time believing they can be immoral or deviant; so if a white person commits a criminal act- it must because he’s ‘not in his right mind’.

Whites have come to believe their own hype. They've been in love with their own image for centuries. Thoroughly convinced they embody everything that is wonderful and right in the world. By controlling the message, whites can create their own reality.

Except here in WV. Here the ghetto is a fairyland compared to the untold hidden horrors of the hills. Whenever some pedophile or family murderer is caught out here, his white face is spread all over the local channels and papers like it ain't no thang. And the awesomest part is that no one shows them any sympathy whatsoever.

It's amazing. I actually got to listen to a white male social worker go off on the fact that while the POC were assigned to areas in the downtown area, white guys in particular always got assigned the "criks" (creeks) and "hollers" (mountain hollows). When a white social worker out here was bludgeoned and set on fire, it finally drove home to the bigwigs the notion that no one is safe out in the hills.

  7. And that yes, it's white folks' fault, and calling them crazy accomplishes nothing.

  8. I'm still waiting for them to rip into this guy the way they did with the Virginia Tech shooter. Something tells me that I will be waiting in vain.

Though I'm shocked that people are actually shocked that this incident took place. I mean...doesn't anyone remember Tim McVeigh?

  9. doesn't anyone remember Tim McVeigh?

Denial and forgetfulness are the cornerstones of white American tradition, dear.

Tim McVeigh whites forgot quite easily. Hell, they're more likely to forgive Timothy McVeigh than they are Michael Vick. Can you remember Chester Stiles?
You know, the man who received national attention for videotaping himself raping a three year old girl. How about Darrin Tuck? The young white male who found the tape but neglected to turn it in for a few months?

Naw… whites have a very short memory when the perpetrator is white. If either of those men had been a POC the media would be revisiting their crime every single year. And laws would be passed- to (in the words of whites) “Make sure this tragedy never happens again.”

The reason I mentioned Mr. Stiles is that he committed his crime right about the time Michael Vick got pinched for dog fighting. Michael most whites remember, but Chester …. Chester who?

    ReplyDelete
  11. @ M. Gibson - I remembered the crime, but I didn't remember the baby raping bitch's name. Remember that case where a white man molested and killed a little black girl in a casino restroom in Las Vegas? I don't remember his name either (nor the girl's, I'm afraid to say), but I remember the circumstances of his case - and how they emphasized his 'troubled early childhood' before he was adopted. How many people gave Michael Vick that consideration? Don't get me wrong; I'm a dog-lover till the day I day, but come ON!

Oh I remember him...(Googled a few search terms). His name was Jeremy Joseph Strohmeyer. The little girl's name was Sherrice Iverson. The news kept looping security footage of him making 'playful contact' with the child while her Father drank and gambled. Indicted and tried as an "Individual," whites quickly forgot about his terrible crime.

But Michael Vick (or 'Buck Nigger' as he's known on some racist sites) continues to taint 'all black people' in white eyes. I remember the local news trying their best to do hard-hitting exposé on dog fighting in the inner city. All of a sudden dog fighting was a black thing.

Less than two weeks ago Tucker Carlson called for the execution of Michael Vick for the crime of animal cruelty. To my knowledge no one has called for the execution of Chester Stills or Jeremy Strohmeyer; least not any white people I know of. Hell no one calls for the execution of NAMBLA members, and these white men are extremely candid in their agenda. How long do you think NAMBLA would exist if it were comprised solely of black men? Now ain't that a kick in de head.

  14. Amen. All this is, is another poor, injured white woman (boo-hoo), just like all those other poor, injured (or dead) white women out there that the media just swarms all over.

Rep. Giffords deserves none of this attention. Actually, the only thing she, and every other WP in the world, deserve is to be shot in the head. Not condoning violence, but white people need to cash in on that little karma thing.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man, (nation, culture- race) soweth, that shall he also reap. White people have been sowing discord, violence and hatred for centuries. Turning nation against nation, they approach as 'trusted friends,' to reap from the turmoil they in fact caused. Ultimately, when their turn comes they won’t know what hit them.

I am reminded of a story of the runaway slave in the Union Army who happens upon his former master during the siege of his old plantation. As his former master is being led away he says, "Bottom rail on top this time, Massah. Bottom rail's on top now."

Ruthless? I thought I was just tellin it how it is.

I don't get why all these anti-racist bloggers keep trying to coddle WP. All this "Being White isn't your fault" and "You're not a bad person" crap. Sorry, WP (not!) Just friggin suck it up. /rant

When you hear stuff like that just direct them over to this site. Aptly named, White Watch. "The purpose of this blog is an honest, no holds barred discussion about white people."

I don't subscribe to his slant on everything but I was taken aback by the wild and crazy things white people are capable of. Notice that with every crime- every unconscionable act; there's always a clear rational excuse as to why it occurred.

Why cant white people accept their failings? Why do they see themselves as the 'exception' rather than the rule?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Agreed with above. Anti-racists shouldn't spend as much time reassuring white people they aren't guilty of whiteness and spend more time pressuring them to own up to the responsibility of being white and what it means.

  22. m. gibson; but the rail made it back on top again 14 yrs later when those feds left, didnt it...?

and that despite blacks OUTNUMBERING whites in many areas of the deep south, despite a defeated, demoralizd W population. this is something that histories don't seem to want to delve into too deeply.

why were there no B nightriders to confront the KKK? THATS when violence against WP wouldve made sense.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @ randy

First of all, you're making the classic error of talking about "what black people should've done." When you do that, you're basically blaming black people for white people's actions.

So all you need to be talking about here is what white people shouldn't have done, and shouldn't be doing today.

"why were there no B nightriders to confront the KKK? THATS when violence against WP wouldve made sense."

Also, keep in mind that you're talking about a time when the law, the government, and the majority of the nation was against black people. Not too much has changed, mind you. This country still values the lives and happiness of white, piece-of-shit, loudmouth bigots over those of decent, law-abiding POC.

That black people have survived in this country - in spite of white people, not because of white people - is an astounding accomplishment, and the only people on the planet can't seem to understand that are white Americans.

I agree; the 'defeated, demoralized whites' as he puts it still benefited from Whiteness. They still had powerful- empathetic interests in Washington more than willing to enact legislation that took power and land away from blacks; putting it right back into the hands of the defeated, demoralized whites. What could blacks do? Wage another war against the north And the south?

Why not? After all, cleaning up the mess of racism is black folks' burden. It's one of those many things "black people should do."
