Underappreciated Actress of Color #32: Liza Lapira

If you've seen Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, then you probably know and dig Liza Lapira (she played Ivy).

Born in 1981, this fabulous Filipina has been busy.  From guest roles on Dexter, Grey's Anatomy, Sex in the City to films like 21 and Fast & Furious (I know), Miss Thang here has worked her ass off steadily (which reminds me - NCIS).

I'm quite disappointed she hasn't had top billing in a major film yet.  She's beautiful, 28, and can go from bitch-in-charge to killer to nerd with ease.  Like...I thought that's what directors and TV networks want in an "actress" or what have you.
